Payoo is aiming to build an efficient payment platform for Vietnam market, enabling payment much easier and more effective for both bank and unbanked customers.

Payoo is operated by VietUnion, an intermediary payment service provider that provides a wide range of services and products to facilitate payments in Vietnam, such as (1) Bill payments for utility bills, tuition fees, insurance bills, public fees, credit card bills, and monthly installments; (2) E-wallet; (3) Payment gateway; (4) Self-serviced kiosks; (5) Mobile POS (PaymPOS); (6) Online purchases with payment at stores; (7) Pick up and Drop off items at stores. VietUnion’s services and solutions cover both banked and unbanked customers via online channels and physical stores.

NTT Data (Japan) acquired a 40% stake in 2011 and increased its stake to 60% in 2016.
