With blockchain growing in stature as the technology develops further, blockchain-based payment system is without a doubt the next hot kid on the tech block. Thanks to Cyberport Creative Micro Fund (CCMF) alumni, ihashing Technology Company Limited, users engaged in mCommerce and online transactions who care about data privacy and ownership can now turn iHashing’s smart blockchain payment system, BURSTPAY. The solution allows users to make transactions instantly and globally, with options to automate trades or refund via smart contracts. The innovation is the brainchild of iHashing, which was founded in 2017 to specialise in the development and application of artificial intelligence, blockchain technology, cloud development, and digital marketing, all while providing education, adoption, and application of blockchain technology. BURSTPAY offers several advantages, including low transaction fees, data privacy, and instant transactions. Best of all, BURSTPAY can be easily applied by different sectors, from banking, e-commerce, and gaming, to education, supply chain, food, and logistics. BURSTPAY was launched in August on Google Play and has now also undergone a partnership in Taiwan to promote its adoption in the region. The ambition is certainly there: iHashing, which organized the APAC Blockchain Consortium with over 1,500 members, is also aiming for 1,000 users by the end of the year, as well as the “decentralised marketplace” in the coming stage.
