We were born in 2015 with the aim to provide people an alternative by buying insurance direct versus through brokers and agents.

EdirectInsure Group was acquired in November 2018 by FWD Group and fully integrated into the bolttech brand and ecosystem in 2021.

Our ambition is to be the best motor insurer as measured by our customers and employees.

EdirectInsure Group is headquartered in Hong Kong, the finance hub of Asia. The Group is managed regionally from Hong Kong, and leverages on the city's fintech infrastructure as the base for Product and Technology Development, Finance & Control, Marketing, and regional expansion.
