Vimo was founded by veterans of the payment and digital industries. It provides a mobile wallet for transactions. Vimo is a co-branded product of MobiFone. The company ceased operating the VIMO e-wallet in February 2026 after its State Bank of Vietnam payment-intermediary license lapsed, and split into a new entity, Tapio Technology Ltd, in June 2026.
