We help self-directed long-term investors to invest at an early stage in cryptocurrency bull markets while remaining protected from market crashes. Our approach is the first to automatically and continuously analyze the market sentiment in online media and to derive investment decisions from it. With our early warning system, cryptocurrencies can find a place in even the most conservative portfolios.

Bitcoin is often called „ digital gold “ and it slowly evolves to become the investment of choice for the digital natives and Millenials. However, due to its high price volatility and yet unclear path of adoption, investors need strong nerves and good timing.

Our first product, the Bull Market Compass , is a subscription-based digital trading signal service offered under the brand CryptoCaptain. It helps long-term Bitcoin investors, who take investing into their own hands, to answer the question, when should I invest in the cryptocurrency market?

This approach gives us an advantage over most competitors who only use technical analysis for timing and often identify trends late. Our approach can be also easily adapted to other asset classes such as stocks and commodities.

CryptoCaptain is part of the fintech megatrend and the data-driven economy. Our service is aimed at digital natives who take control of their finances and are increasingly considering cryptocurrencies for their portfolio.

Our long-term oriented timing service occupies a niche with a market volume of 19.4M € /year, which is projected to reach 100M €/year over the next 5 years. The market volume corresponds to the product of the market price of 12 €/month for our service and the number of Bitcoin investors who (1) hold more than 0.1 Bitcoin (~800€) (~ 3 million), (2) invest long-term (~ 1.92 million left) and (3) would ask for investment advice (~ 134,400 potential customers left).

We plan to acquire new customers with the help of content marketing and advertising on cryptocurrency-related websites.

Competition

Potential competitors include trading signal and sentiment providers. However, they can be neglected as they are either short-term oriented and only use technical analysis or they do not make any market recommendations based on their sentiment analysis. In contrast, CryptoCaptain takes an end-to-end approach that extracts and fully integrates the market sentiment in its investing strategies. The benefits of our approach for customers are worry-free long-term investing and better market timing.
