About GLS Crowd
GLS Bank cooperates with CrowdDesk GmbH for the operation of the crowd investing platform. This company was founded in 2011 as a civic and entrepreneurial response to the global financial crisis with the aim of offering a transparent alternative to the established financial system. CrowdDesk focuses as a technical financial service provider and financial investment broker on the realisation of citizen-oriented project financing and is a specialist in the marketing, processing and administration of swarm financing.
In terms of a good division of labour, GLS Bank and CrowdDesk each concentrate on what they are particularly good at:
GLS Bank uses its expertise and extensive network to identify projects. It selects them on the basis of its investment and financing principles and proposes them to the online platform GLS Crowd for placement.
CrowdDesk provides the technical infrastructure and commercial services and operates the online platform GLS Crowd within GLS Crowdfunding GmbH.
