Holvi Deutschland

Holvi is the first digital banking service built for European micro-entrepreneurs, freelancers and the self -employed. Holvi combines everything a modern entrepreneur needs in one simple to use service; from digital business account to paperless bookkeeping and from invoicing and expense management to collecting payments through Holvi’s online store.

The Finnish Fintech startup was founded by Tuomas Toivonen in Helsinki in 2011 and is represented by Antti-Jussi Suominen (CEO). Holvi is a licensed payment institution, authorised for operations across Europe by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority (FSA). In 2017 Holvi announced the partnership with Estonia’s e-Residency programme to provide borderless EU banking to location independent free entrepreneurs across the globe.

Holvi  was acquired by  Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria  on  Mar 7, 2016 .
