The way businesses are located is changing, more and more teams are becoming distributed, and as this distribution of teams occurs, so does the way team members get paid. The fiat system does not work well in these distributed setups, it is slow and costly to pay people in multiple countries. The fiat system is also changing, cryptocurrency is starting to be used as an alternative and we believe this is only the beginning of the general trend to crypto over fiat for payroll. Large distributed teams are already paying many of their contractors, freelancers, and partners in cryptocurrency. Our belief is that this trend will continue. In fact, we believe that soon, everyone will be paid in one form of cryptocurrency or another.
