Presentation at the Tokyo FinTech Meetup #73

Dr. Jochen Biedermann gave a presentation at the FinTech Meetup #73 at BINARYSTAR in Ginza, Tokyo on 19 March 2020, by invitation of Tokyo FinTech. BINARYSTAR is Japan’s biggest Blockchain Business Hub.

Jochen was introduced by Norbert Gehrke, founder & representative director of Tokyo FinTech, who kindly invited Jochen to speak at the largest FinTech meetup in Japan with more than 3,200 members.

After talking about his activities in FinTech at the World Alliance of International Financial Centers and at his venture Blockchain Asia in Hong Kong, he presented the European Union and German FinTech ecosystems.

Due to the corona crisis, participants had to keep some distance in the meetup. But it did not stop them from asking many questions after Jochen’s presentation. The intensive Q&A session lasted for almost one hour.

Jochen plans to visit Tokyo soon after the current crisis is over and traveling is possible again.
